CHALLENGE:
This show is absolutely unique and is the only show
in New England and one of three in the country that
features handcrafted furniture. Approximately 60% of
the exhibitors are furniture makers working in a variety
of styles ranging from antique reproductions to art
furniture. The site had never been optimized for search
engine placement, and as the show quickly approached,
the opportunity to capture email addresses of qualified
visitors was a priority
SOLUTIONS: Web Marketing - The site needed to be optimized
with keywords and page descriptions, as well as submitted
to the top search engines and directories. Site traffic
is analyzed each month and a report is submitted detailing
how well the site is ranked for specific keywords in
the these top search engines and directories. Send out
monthly newsletters and track the click-throughs from
the newsletter to the site. A pop-up
window with a "Ticket Giveaway" helped
capture email addresses of visitors. The email database
increased from 50 subscribers to 215 in the period of
1 month.
